Steptoe & Johnson promotes four West Virginia attorneys, eight others

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WV News) — Four Steptoe & Johnson PLLC attorneys working in West Virginia were among a dozen the firm has recently promoted.

In addition to those in West Virginia, seven other attorneys throughout the firm’s six-state footprint have been promoted to member, while another has been promoted to of counsel.

“Our members and of counsels are chosen carefully and reflect an attorney’s commitment to clients and their goals,” said Steptoe & Johnson CEO Christopher L. Slaughter. “We look forward to what they will accomplish for our clients in 2021 and beyond.”

The West Virginia attorneys promoted to member are John D. Pizzo at the Bridgeport office; J. Brooke Kamicker at the Morgantown office; Devon J. Stewart at the Charleston office; and Michelle E. Gaston at the Huntington office.

Katharine L. Platt, at the Southpointe office, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, was promoted to of counsel.
